MANILA, Philippines - The House of Representatives issued a subpoena to Sarah Discaya, president of Alpha and Omega General Contractor and Development Corporation to the next hearing of its Infrastructure Committee (Infracom).
The subpoena, signed by Committee chairman and Bicol Saro Partylist Rep. Terry Ridon and co-chairmen Romeo Momo Sr., Joel Chua, and Speaker Martin Romualdez, compelled Discaya to attend the hearing on Sept. 9 at the People's Center Building.
Aside from Discaya, other individuals who were subpoenaed were Miguel Juntura, president of St. Timothy Construction Corporation, Eumir Villanueva, chairman and president of Topnotch Catalyst Builders, Inc, Mark Allan Arevalo, president of Wawao Builders Corporation and, Sally Santos, owner of Syms Construction Trading.

They are accused of allegedly getting paid billions of pesos from flood control projects that were either unfinished or were not built at all.
